THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
1969 UK *STEREO* PRESSING* LP
This hard to find STEREO variant dates from mid-1969 and is on the final version of the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels OMIT the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
There is no purchase tax code is visible around the centre of either label.
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback gatefold stereo cover.
Complete with its original red & white EMI advertising inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper codes: 4/PO & 1,7/OL

Labels: 1. EXCELLENT 2. VERY GOOD +
This rare pair are clean overall with some clumsy spindle marks but no major issues.
Visual: GOOD
Both surfaces are fairly worn with numerous surface marks and light scratches - none of which are deep or feelable.
Play: VERY GOOD
Plays and sounds much better than it looks with just some occasional light background & tick but no heavy clicks, pops, jumps or any other such major audible faults.
Cover
VERY GOOD
Clean & fully intact with a little wear along the upper & lower edges of the front leaf but no tears or missing pieces. There is a bump to the lower left corner but inside is clean & unmarked and the delicate centre-hinge is fully intact along its full length with no tears of splits to either end. The rear panel has a little laminate lift towards the spine but again, no other problems. All seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD
Clean & flat with a light disc impression & some invisibly repair seams but no writing anywhere.
