THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
1965 UK *1st PRESSING* EP
This excellent 1st pressing from 1965 is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: GEP 8931
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text & have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label & in both run-outs.
Housed in a front laminated, pointed-flipback printed picture cover.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 860-1N & 7TCE 861-1N
Stamper codes: 2/RT & 2/GA
CONDITION
Labels: NEAR MINT
An immaculate pair with no spindle marks to either centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT -
Both surface are bright, clean & glossy with just a few tiny surface marks on side 1 but nothing more than some harmless wispy hairlines directly beneath halogen light. Downgraded from EX due to a slight edgewarp which does not affect sound or play in anyway.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has been rarely played and there is no significant deterioration to the sound quality. Aside from a few soft 'pops' on the fade-in to 'Eight Days A Week' there is little else to fault.

EXCELLENT
A superb clean & high-goss example with no creasing or wear to the front panel & an unmarked & unblemished rear panel.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
