Labels: EXCELLENT +

A 1st class set with little more than a handful of faint spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Pristine playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine and are 'as new' & unmarked when viewed in strong daylight. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals a few barely visible some harmless light marks consistent with inner-sleeve storage/removal, but nothing to suggest that this copy has been out of its cover more than a handful of times over the past 48 years.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

This barely played copy sounds perfectly clean ,clear & totally unworn throughout with no trace of any groove/playwear distortion or crackle on any track or in either channel. Even the most frequently worn spots such as the organ solo in 'Mr Moonlight' and the easily worn innermost tracks play flawlessly. My single careful play-check at volume detected just no clicks, pops, ticks or any other audible distraction on this exceptional disc which will not disappoint.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A very respectable example of this fragile cover which unlike so many has survived the past 48 years in fine shape.

The delicate front leaf is clean & perfectly flat with an unscratched laminate with the only sign of wear being three tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkles. All of the exposed edges are perfectly clean & sharp and there are no spine bends visible.

Apart from the tiny bruises to the upper left & lower right corners, all are wear-free.

Both panels of the inside of the gatefold are clean & unmarked with no damage to the delicate central hinge.

The rear panel is as clean & as glossy as the front with just a hint of storage rubbing & a small 1.5cm repair in the upper right corner.

All seams are smooth & unstressed with no flaking laminate and the spine is square, uncrushed and perfectly worded.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & crisp with a little age-toning and a few soft bends from storage, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
