THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This 1st UK MONO dates form initial December 1964 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1240
Both labels have the 'Sold in UK..' texts and 'Parlophone Co..' worded rims.
A 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: XEX 503-3N & XEX 504-3N
Stamper codes: 1/GHR & 2,8/GHM
Vinyl weight: 168g
Housed in a pristine UK-printed, outer-laminated mono gatefold cover.
Complete with rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Cover: NEAR MINT
A superb example of this fragile cover which retains a sparkling gloss to its outer laminated panels. The delicate front leaf is clean & flat with no 'thumbnails' and just two tiny wrinkles to the spine. The edges are sharp & unworn and all corners are great undamaged shape. Both panels are clean & black where they should be with no fading, writing or missing paper. The rear panel is as nice as the front and the spine is square and fully worded.
If you have a pristine disc looking for the perfect cover, then this is the upgrade you are looking for.

Labels: EXCELLENT
Both are clean & bright with just a small collection of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD
Clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces which bear several light hairlines scratches in strong daylight and some more wispy ones directly beneath halogen light.
Audio: VERY GOOD +
All tracks play well with the following minor issues: light vinyl background on 'No Reply', two ticks into 'Baby's In Black' and a couple at the start of 'Mr Moonlight'. Side 2 plays without any significant faults or distractions.
