You are bidding on this original Promo LP by The Beatles "Christmas Album" on Apple records SBC 100 from 1970 plus the original 1969 fan club Christmas message insert Flexi Disc with matching picture sleeve.
An absolutely wonderful and original combined set that came from a radio station. These are not counterfeit items - but authentic releases. As per Perry Cox's Beatle guide - the LP cover has a pasted rear paper cover. The color is bright blue with a metalic look and the word "THEATRE ROYAL" is clearly visible on the bottom 2nd black & white picture shot of the group just above John Lennon & Paul McCartney's heads. The LP features the original pressed Apple labels ( See Scans ) and the matching matrix deadwax numbers being SBC-1-100A on side 1 and SBC-2-100B on side 2 with the mechanical (Bell Sound) stamp on both sides of the dead wax. Also included is the original black inner sleeve. The vinyl retains all it's original gleaming gloss. The album cover condition is in near pristine condition without any cover wear. The only fault I can find is very discreet and extremely slight corner edge wear. The Flexi Disc itself is just as amazing - retaining it's full gleaming high gloss shine. I playtested the Flexi Disc at half a gram tone arm weight to verify the overall sound quality - which is absolutely superb with almost no background noise to be heard. The only fault I can find with the Flexi Disc is 2 original cardboard paper sleeve marks on side 1. The Flexi Disc cardboard paper picture sleeve is in fantastic condition without hardly any signs of aging. The rear cover features the original Canadian Beatles Distribution Fan Club Stamp. This Flexi Disc was housed inside the LP that preserved it from wrinkling. The only fault I can find with the picture sleeve cover is very slight cardboard outer paper edge wear ( See Scans ). I also play tested the LP at 1 gram tone arm weight. It sounds absolutely superb. The only fault I can find is original and almost invisible paper sleeve impressions on both sides of the LP. This has to be the nicest copy ever offered on Ebay for a very long time. Now's your chance to get this incredible and highly collectible authentic Beatle gem - just in time for another Christmas!
