Description

PASTED OVER COVER

The Beatles Yesterday and Today LP

Capital Records...# T-2553

Selling for a friend of mine whose husband passed away a year ago.

He collected Beatles items.

I tried my best to take a picture of the "black V " shirt that appears underneath the pasted over cover. My camera cannot show the "V" well enough to post the picture.

TRUST me...the "black V " is quite visible when looking at it but NOT good enough for a picture.  It is about an inch and a half from the paper tear that I show in one of my pictures.

If I can somehow take a respectable picture of the "V" I will add it to the description. So keep checking back.

If in doubt I took a picture of the upper right corner of the front that shows a portion of the album number underneath the pasted over cover.

Front and back of sleeve shows ring wear. NO split seams.

11 tracks.

Vinyl has surface scratches. Good condition. Visually inspected. No obvious lable spindle wear.

Inner sleeve is split on the bottom and the right edge.

NO reserve.

Sent by priority mail with insurance.

On Jun-10-08 at 23:00:52 PDT, seller added the following information:

I added two extra close-ups of the "black V " ...look closely...it is there. Hope this helps your decision to bid.

Also...this outer sleeve has spots that are just the wear of the album being played.  Do not expect a near mint sleeve. This one is probably fair to good. It is the only one I have ever found with the "V" showing.

On Jun-12-08 at 12:08:39 PDT, seller added the following information:

Added four other pictures to show the closeup of the side edge tear..the number "6" next to the RIAA  on the lower right corner on the backside and another closeup trying to show the "V"...hope this helps. Jerry
