This is it - the iconic Beatles "Butcher Block" cover (2nd state) in a grade that will make this classic collector's item affordable.
See the photos, two areas at the bottom had the label partially peeled as the original owner must have pondered attempting to remove the pasted over "corrected" cover. Thankfully, they did not keep going (it is a sure fire way to ruin a 'butcher block'). You can see there was old scotch tape and the one end of the sleeve is split. The LP is worn to a level you would expect with a record that looks like it was played and played. The white inner sleeve appears to be recent, simply because it is rather new looking.
As a BONUS, I will include a later version of this LP that is in nice condition (see photos) so you will be able to display both side by side.
The BUTCHER BLOCK is one of the most iconic LP covers of all time as well as one of the true 'signature' Beatles collector's items ... this "second state" example is actually becoming more scarce over time as more and more such examples are professionally "peeled" to reveal the BUTCHER BLOCK underneath.
