Up for auction is an ORIGINAL SEALED "BEATLES COLLECTION" "blue box" LP set (BC-13). This BOXED SET was originally released in December, 1978 in America and in January, 1979 in the UK. This is the United Kingdom issue of this collection.

Even though the box is FACTORY SEALED, I am listing it as M- because of imperfections in the original shrinkwrapping (which I will describe in detail, along with accompanying photographs).

As mentioned, the box is still FACTORY SEALED, but there are imperfections in the shrinkwrap that must be described in detail so that your bid is based on you being well-informed. (Please see attached photos) This is why I am listing this item as MINT MINUS.

1. On the front of the box, where the words "THE BEATLES COLLECTION" are embossed, there is a tear in the wrap that amounts to an almost 2 inch flap. The shrink is still in tact here, but some of the box is exposed underneath it. The box is not discolored or damaged here. (Specific photo attached)

2. There is another tear/flap in the original shrinkwrap at the bottom right front of the box, right along the bottom seam. It is about 3/4" long.

3. There is shrinkwrap wear at the two bottom right hand corners of the box, exposing the actual corners of the box itself. There is some slight shelf wear to the box itself at these corners where the wrap has been worn away. It is very minor - perhaps a 1/4" long - but it is evident if you look for it. It does not in any way detract from the appearance of the item.

4. There are two very small areas of shrinkwrap wear, exposing the two bottom corners of the box, at the bottom left (front and back). Again, very minor, but existing.

5. The largest area of shrinkwrap loss is at the top of the box, toward the back. The area is a little over 5 inches long, oval in shape and exposes some of the flip-top lid of the blue box as well as some of the back. (Please see specific photo).

6. There is also some very slight wrap wear at the front of the top of the box.

This box has been stored on a shelf and is in the same exact condition it was when I purchased it here on E-Bay in 2005.
