This NEAR MINT example of The Beatles' final studio album is a 1st UK pressing dating from initial September 1969 release.

It is on the dark green Apple Record label; PCS 7088 which omits the 'Her Majesty' title from the side 2 label.

Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple logo aligned beneath the rear side 1 track listing.

A richly colored & unworn pair with a hint of toning to the side 2 label, but no visible spindle trails around either centre hole.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Pristine playing surfaces which are totally unmarked in strong daylight and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. Close inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals only a few harmless wispy hairlines consistent with the few times this disc has been removed from its inner, together with a sparkling rainbow shine, but no further blemishes or wear. Both sides of this 1st class copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: MINT

This flawless sounding copy has clearly received very little play on good equipment. My single careful play-check at volume detected no trace of any groove/play wear, background interference or even a single tick, click or pop anywhere. It must be one of the best sounding copies around and is guaranteed not to disappoint.

Cover: NEAR MINT

A cover worth of this immaculate disc within. This almost 'shop new' example retains a totally unworn high-gloss laminate all-round with no 'thumbnail' wrinkles, creasing or storage rubbing anywhere - and not even a single spine bend. All corners are perfectly sharp and free from any bumps or bruising and both opening edges are razor-sharp and completely unworn. The rear panel is as perfect as the front. I would have graded MINT but for a tiny (5mm) section of missing laminate from the lower part of the spine. Both seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit, making this one cover which will not require upgrading.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean, flat & unworn with just a few gentle storage bends but no tears to the centre window or upper edge or any seam splits.
