THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
1969 UK EMI/APPLE PROMOTIONAL POSTER
**ULTRA-RARE & 100% ORIGINAL**
This is an extremely rare original UK Record Store promotional poster, printed and issued in 1969 for the 'Abbey Road' LP.
Printed on heavy paper it measures 56 x 63cms (22" x 25")
The image on the right is the same poster but I have placed an LP sleeve on it just to give you a clearer indication of size. The LP is not part of this lot.
CONDITION
The poster has of course been displayed many times during its life. There are two areas of missing paper on the lower edge, another to the right of the 'EMI' logo and a smaller one just above the 'T' in 'BEATLES'. There are just 2 significant tears; both are along the bottom edge measuring 7cms and 6cm. There are some others which have in the past been repaired from the reverse (take a look at the lower image for the reverse view). Some tape residue remains at some points around the edge & there are 9 or 10 pin-holes are visible in each corner. The factory folds have some light wear but no splits or holes along any of them.
