Up for sale is my copy of the Beatles Abbey Road Original Master Recording half speed master on the prestigious Mobile Fidelity label vinyl lp, considered by many to be the best available version of this iconic album.
Please checkout my other auctions over the coming days as I will be listing many rare Beatles records, guitars, Vox amps and recording gear.
It’s in excellent condition and plays & sounds amazing but as expected from a record that’s over 40 years old it does have the odd pop and click here and there, but I’ve had brand new records do this. Only selling as I have the mfsl box set.

In 1980 Mobile Fidelity were given access to the original stereo analog master tapes from EMI to produce this half speed master on virgin vinyl at the best record pressing plant in the world at the time in Japans JVC pressing factory.
They were allowed to take 6 different master tapes at a time from the EMI archives insured for a million $ per tape, something that simply would not happen today.
