Item Description/Condition:
Another beautifully well cared for example of The Beatles FIRST ISSUE UK Apple Vinyl LP, 'ABBEY ROAD', released by EMI/Apple on 26 September 1969 on the Custom DARK GREEN APPLE label, with 'Apple Records' label rim , 'Mfd in UK' label text and **WITH** ‘Her Majesty’ credited to the side 2 record label. The ORIGINAL 1ST Issue Garrod & Lofthouse fully laminated sleeve features the RARE, MIS-ALIGNED Apple logo to the reverse (aligned nearer to the edge of the sleeve to that of the regular sleeve).
Both sides of the Record Labels are in EXCEPTIONAL Near Mint condition, an UNDAMAGED, BRIGHT and CLEAN Set of record labels, with no more than a couple of faint centre spider trails visible only when tilting the labels around in the light.
Side 1 Matrix YEX 749-2 and Side 2 YEX 750-1.
Side 1 stampers: 912 OHM and Side 2: 4 MPL.
Both sides of the HEAVYWEIGHT Vinyl Disc are in stunning Near Mint condition, CLEAN, BRIGHT Vinyl surfaces, hard to detect even a suface hairline, this vinyl disc is one of the best condition examples that i have seen for a long while.
Audio Quality:
The album plays as good as it looks, NO clicks, NO pops, NO background crackle between tracks, NO skips just a superb clear STEREO sound, with a very powerful Bass Guitar.
The Vinyl Disc comes in an ORIGINAL White MADE in GREAT BRITAIN Printed inner bag which is in Excellent Plus condition, with only mild age toning, NO seam splits.
The album is housed in its ORIGINAL, FULLY LAMINATED, 1st Issue, Garrod & Lofthouse Picture sleeve featuring the RARE, MIS-ALIGNED Apple logo to the reverse of the sleeve.
The Glossy FIRST ISSUE Fully Laminated MIS-ALIGNED Apple Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in STUNNING NEAR MINT condition. The laminate front and back is ULTRA GLOSSY, the colours have remained STRONG and VIVID, there are a couple of laminate pinches visible on the front of the sleeve, this is a manufacturing flaw. The reverse of the sleeve is GLOSSY and BRIGHT, and the spine is undamaged, the sleeve has the mildest of record impression.
An extremely BEAUTIFUL example of this Collectable, ORIGINAL UK Beatles Album, released over 40 years ago.
