NICE ALL ROUND NEAR MINT EXAMPLE, WITH 'HER MAJESTY' CREDIT TO THE SIDE 2 RECORD LABEL
A HIGHLY RESPECTABLE example of The Beatles FIRST RE-ISSUE UK Apple 'ABBEY ROAD' Vinyl LP,originally released on 26 September 1969 on the Custom DARK GREEN APPLE label, with 'Apple Records' label rim and 'Mfd in UK' label text WITH ‘Her Majesty’ credited to the side 2 record label.
The Official stamped trail out groove information is matches that of the FIRST issue, Side 1 Matrix YEX 749-2 and Side 2 Matrix YEX 750-1. UNUSUALLY, the matrix numbers are stamped at the 11 o’clock, and 1 o’clock position, rather than the normal 6 o’clock position.
Side 1 stampers: 3 PAM and Side 2 stampers:3 POG.
The Vinyl Disc comes in an ORIGINAL White printed ‘APPLE’ record bag, and is housed in its ORIGINAL and FULLY LAMINATED Garrod & Lofthouse Picture sleeve.
Both sides of the Record Labels are FINE examples and in NEAR MINT condition, BRIGHT, CLEAN and only 1 light spider trail on both sides, Both sides of the HEAVYWEIGHT Vinyl Disc are in NEAR MINT condition, CLEAN, BRIGHT Vinyl surfaces, showing only 1 or 2 light surface hairlines. The Glossy Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve is in NEAR MINT condition, the colours are BRIGHT and VIVID. The sleeve shows a couple of mild laminate bubbles to the top right and left corners. The Original Inner bag is in NICE condition, with just some mild creasing, but no splits to the seams.
The album plays EXTREMELY WELL through all of the tracks, without any skips or clicks.
Overall a GREAT example of this Collectable early first RE-ISSUE UK Beatles Album, released 40 years ago.
