Description
Very nice Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (MFSL) half-speed mastered stereo LP of The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night album. This is my personal copy that I purchased directly from MFSL back in the 80s. I played this album three times at most (transferred to cassette back in the day, and never needed to transfer when the CDR age came because others had already done it for me). A friend had it for a while, and he must have played it a few times as well.
I was always extremely careful when handling/cleaning my records and setting up my tonearm weight, etc., so this album is practically new. I have looked very carefully at the LP under a 60 watt bulb. I found only a couple of VERY faint scratches -- so faint that I almost didn't see them. Apart from that, the record still looks like it has never been touched.
It has been always been stored in a protective outer sleeve -- most of the time it has been in a resealable Japanese mylar outer sleeve. This LP still also has the original MFSL sleeve with the sticker on it. So cover is still beautiful and glossy with no ring wear, scratches, or creasing. Thanks to my friend, however, there is the beginnings of a seem split on the spine and the upper right corner has been bent some (see photos).
