Description
Dome labels are extinct, which is why there's only one of those in this lot. Target labels aren't extinct, but they are on the endangered species list. Here's a nice lot of them for you.
Nowhere Man/What Goes On---Scranton pressing RARE dome label! As you can see in the picture, someone squiggled with a black Sharpie on the A-side label. There is also very light sticker removal damage. I didn’t do it! Vinyl is a strong VG, not quite all the way to a VG+. Lots of generous shine left to both sides. Each side has a few soft marks that don’t affect play. A nice first copy!
Ticket to Ride/Yes It Is---Scranton copy. A-side label has a little ticker tape on it with the number 27. Both sides of the vinyl are VG. A generous helping of very light needle marks. No white dot in the Capitol logo indicates the early pressing of this run. Labels have the incorrect disclaimer, “Eight Arms to Hold You.” (Especially since the B-side wasn’t even in the film…)
Eleanor Rigby/Yellow Submarine---Scranton copy. A-side label has a little ticker tape on it with the number 79. Both sides of the vinyl are a solidly attractive VG. Not nearly as many needle marks as the above 45. Lots of gloss left. White dot in the Capitol logo indicates the later pressing of this already limited run.
I Want to Hold Your Hand/I Saw Her Standing There---Scranton pressing. Both labels are beautiful and clean. With the exception of a white groove on the A-side, both sides are VG++, nearly new-looking. White dot in the Capitol logo indicates the later pressing of this already limited run.
Yesterday/Act Naturally---Scranton pressing. Both labels are beautiful and clean. Both sides of the vinyl are a muscular VG++. Had it not been for one measly stray light line on the A-side visible only under a bare bulb, this one would have been near mint! (I probably should have done a separate listing for this one.) White dot in the Capitol logo indicates the later pressing of this already limited run.
And I Love Her/If I Fell---Scranton pressing. Features the much harder to find label with the very small text. You won’t come across many of these in your travels and efforts. Both sides have slight white groove circle. For that reason, this 45 is VG, even though the majority of gloss still shines up at you. No white dot in the Capitol logo indicates the early pressing of this run.
All sleeves are original issued company sleeves, although some have been written on.
(Please note that due to time constraints, I have had to stop play-testing my vinyl. However, I am happy to by request. As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
