Description

This was the second Swedish release from The Beatles, Odeon 5944, in 1963, with the black Odeon "silver logo" on the record. It was available in 6 color variations, with this one being in red. The sleeve is an absolute gem. No marks, tears, splits or writing. Very slight ring impression. The red cover is still very sharp and bright. On the back there is a "464" stamped in the upper right, which may have been that way from production. It is visible in the photo of the back of the sleeve. Maybe a price stamp? The record is a little rough. The center punch is intact, and the labels are nice, but the record was clearly played a lot. I see quite a few little scratches under light, plus lots of smudges and fingerprints. I haven't tried to clean it, and I've never played it. Regardless, this is a genuinely rare record, with a marvelous sleeve. Thanks for looking!
