Beatles 45 Yellow Submarine SCARCE “Subsidiary” Black Perimeter Text NICE!
I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…
“Subsidiary of…” labels are very hard to find. Copies with black perimeter text are extinct. These were only available for literally weeks, 54 years ago in 1968.
The only ones that come up for sale are copies that collectors have decided to part with.
Sleeve: VG++. Company Capitol sleeve is present and in very nice condition, NO SPLITS. A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve during shipping.
Vinyl: VG+/ EX. “Yellow Submarine” side has 90% new gloss with a light scuff or two that you can’t feel with your fingertip. “Eleanor Rigby” side is stunning gorgeous new-looking, with the exception of some extremely short, extremely light hairlines only detectable by bright bare bulb. This side retains 99% new shine.
Labels: NM, both sides.
Plates: P28/ P28. You’ll P28 yourself when you see this copy. The machine-stamped triangle with the letters, “IAM” inside it makes this pressing from Scranton.
If you really don’t know what to get your Beatles collector for Christmas, get them one of these for sale in the next few weeks. They’re never going to find one on their own, and they will wonder where the heck you found this one!
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
Note: All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.
Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!
(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
