Beatles 45 SCARCE 1964 Please, Please Me VJ Yellow Label, Beautiful Copy!
I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…
Of all of the commercially released “Please, Please Me/From Me to You” label variations, the rarest is the purple label, followed by the white label, followed by this yellow label. That doesn’t mean that the yellow labels are easy to find, because they’re simply not.
And this one’s in strong condition! Good luck.
Vinyl: EX/VG+. Visualize your VG+ grading. This copy is better than that. Now, visualize your Excellent grading. Side 1 is that grading. And Side 2 is stronger than your VG+, but is just this side of the fence of an Excellent grade. 90 to 95% original shine.
A strong copy!
Plates: “Audio Matrix” on both sides. Side 1 has the initials, “RA,” whom I’m not familiar with, and Side 2 has the initial “V,” whom I’m not familiar with also.
Labels: VG+/VG+. Both labels would graded Excellent, except for some light dirtwear on both sides. Not bad.
Sleeve: VG+. Original Vee Jay sleeve is present. It features the thumb tab. Moderate small wrinkles, and some tiny tears to the top of the sleeve. NO SPLIT SEAMS.
Note: All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the original company sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks!)
Please don’t bid unless you’re willing to honor your amount, okay? Thanks!
(Please note: Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized. The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle. Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix? Thanks!)
