I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

VERY hard to find. 

Most copies of this limited run from 1969 that had the small text came from the Los Angeles plant, but a few titles out of Scranton were blessed with these Los Angeles in-house labels.  Scranton’s labels for this run were essentially straight transfers from the original pressings with the larger dome logos and larger text.  (See compere photo.)

This copy is gorgeous.

Vinyl: EX/EX.  SO close to NM, with just a few extremely light angel hairs, too light to photograph.  I did manage to brighten one photo enough to capture the ghost image of one, though.

Plates: F7/G8.  Machine-stamped triangle with the letters, “IAM” inside it makes this copy pressed by Scranton.

Labels: NM/NM.  Labels look 1969-brand new.

Sleeve: VG+.  Would have graded an easy NM, except that someone wrote “41” in red magic marker on one side.  1969 Capitol sleeves had smaller center holes to accommodate the smaller labels.  NO SEAM SPLITS.

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
