Description
Two great copies of original pressing classic Beatles albums.
Meet the Beatles. Capitol Mono T2047 with 'Beatles' in olive green on cover. This appears to be a West Coast pressing with matrix numbers Side 1) T-1-2047-G-12-1 Side 2) T-2-2047-G-14-1. Both sides have a star imprinted in the matrix. All BMI credits except for two songs on side two with ASCAP credits. Back cover with '6' in the lower right corner and NO George Martin production credit. Vinyl is a very clean VG++ with hardly any signs of wear. Jacket is a very clean VG+ with no seam splits, writing, ringwear, stains or tears. Punch hole and some creasing in upper right. Small staple holes in lower right (see photos).
Something New. Capitol Mono T2108. This appears to be a Scranton pressing with matrix numbers Side 1) T1-2108-F3" IAM Side 2) T2-2108-G4" #2 IAM. Back cover with '4' in the lower right corner. Vinyl is a very clean VG++ with hardly any signs of wear. Jacket is a very clean VG+ with no seam splits, writing, ringwear, stains or tears. Some minor edge wear on top (see photo). Original blue liner included.
