After "She Loves You" was a smash hit, Swan wanted to encourage additional sales by promoting the B side.  To get radio DJs to play "I'll Get You", Swan issued this white label promo single with "I'll Get You" on one side and a blank label on the other.  There are several variations of this rare promotional record.

The sleeve is condition is as shown in the photo. There is a spot on the back of the sleeve where a price sticker was once affixed.  So why would a Swan record be in a Vee Jay sleeve?  This is the way it was supplied to a friend of mine from a radio station in the early 60's.    VeeJay originally had rights to to distribute some of the first Beatles records, but after disappointing sales (and apparently non-payment of royalties), Swan picked up distribution rights from EMI.  I speculate that something in this transition caused the record to be supplied with a Swan label but in a VeeJay sleeve.   Or not....   Anyway, since this is the way I received it, this is the way I'm selling it.

As you probably already know, the original master has heavy clipping to make it sound louder on AM radios of the period.
