Description
THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES' SEVENTH CHRISTMAS RECORD'
UK 1969 UK FAN-CLUB FLEXI-DISC
As with the 1968 disc, this too was recorded in separate locations by each member and put together by ace edited together by Radio 1 disc-jockey Kenny Everett.
It is a 2-sided 33 1/3 rpm flexi disc and was was sent out to UK fan-club members only in December 1969.
The disc was pressed by Lyntone Records and bears printed label: LYN 1970/1
Matrix numbers: LYN 1970-1L & LYN 1971-1L
The disc is housed within its original picture cover designed by Richard & Zak Starkey.
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
All of the delicate print is still fully intact with just a few barely visible light hairlines being the only traces of wear.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are bright & clean and free from any bends, crease or significant surface wear in strong daylight. A small number of wispy paper-type hairlines are visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp but both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no bends or warping.
Play: VERY GOOD +
The sound is clear & unworn throughout with just an occasional light tick and some light background, as is normal for this media, but no other significant or any major audible faults.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A bright & strong example which bears a few tiny age-related blemishes on the rear panel, but no other significant or major signs of wear to any other place.
