Description

Original 1968 first pressing US Apple White Album, cover numbered A1586772 and still in the shrink. Apple labels with Capitol logo and all the early label printing errors.

COVER:

Gorgeous - still as white and clean as new. No seam splits, no stains or writing, and the corners are square.

There are a few tears/openings in the shrink, but it’s done its job in protecting and preserving the cover.

They’re shown in the pics, in this order:

- Front: bottom right, bottom left and upper left corner.

- Back: upper right. The shrink is missing here, and there are a couple of small scratches on the top area of the back - the only flaw on the cover..

Please look closely at all the pictures as they are part of the item description.

VINYL:

Two nice pieces of vinyl, both still have their luster. There are a few handling/paper scuffs and small, light hairline surface scratches, a little more on LP2 than LP1.

They’re close to VG++, but I grade conservatively and I don’t want to over-promise, so I'm grading them as a solid VG+.

As shown in the pics, the lacquer numbers are:

LP1: Side 1 J46’’ - Side 2 J45#2

LP2: Side 1 J47’’ #3 - Side 2 J44 ’’

LABELS:

Beautiful first pressing dark green Apple labels with the Capitol logo. No wear, no writing, no spindle marks.

All label errors are present (plus “Rocky Racoon” with one “c”):

- “Obladi Oblada” (no dashes)

- “Bungalow Bill” (no “Continuing Story”)

- “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road” (no question mark)

- “Revolution No. 1” (instead of “Revolution 1”)

- “Revolution No. 9” (instead of “Revolution 9”)

- “Goodnight” (one word instead of “Good Night”)

PICTURES:

All four pictures are the first printing on heavier stock with “Printed in USA” at the bottom (no Apple copyright info). Includes the separator sheet (tan thin paper stock). All are in beautiful condition, with no wear, writing, wrinkles or creases.

POSTER:

First printing with “© Apple Records” at the bottom. No tears or creases, but there is some light wrinkling from having been handled.

NOTE: The original owner carefully (and excitedly) wrote “November 27, 1968!” (which was two days after its US release) on the generic white inner sleeves - so a little bit of a time capsule there.

***BID WITH CONFIDENCE: I was a serious Beatles collector for many years, and very picky about condition. So I grade carefully and accurately, I pack each item extremely well (just as I’d want to receive it) and I ship quickly (typically next business day after receiving payment).

Domestic shipping via USPS Media Mail (Sorry, I only ship to the lower 48 states). I’m happy to combine shipping upon request.
