Description
Nice US Capitol stereo copy of Rubber Soul, still in the shrink wrap with the yellow “Michelle” hype sticker. This is a 1966 pressing with the second print run of black/colorband labels that added “THE BEATLES” to the individual names.
Super-nice NM cover - four square corners, no seam splits and no wear. There are a few openings in the shrink, all shown close-up in the pictures - top center, bottom center and front left/back right.
Also note in the pictures that the sticker was a little misaligned at the factory, there’s a crease on the upper left corner. It has some spotting in places that looks to me more like tiny age spots than wear.
Beautiful vinyl, it still has its gloss. There are a few light scuffs, nothing major - and the lack of spindle wear on the labels also indicates that it hasn’t had much play. Conservatively, I’m visually grading it as a solid VG++.
