1966 UK *STEREO* 1st PRESS LP

This NEAR MINT 1966 UK STEREO 1st pressing is on the UK black & rainbow Capitol label: ST 2354
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' texts.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' stereo cover.
Complete with original white 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: ST 1 2354-A12 & ST 2 2354-A12

Cherished & carefully played no more than five times directly after purchase and not since, this copy is as fresh as it left the shop in 1965.
The amazing copy appears in totally MINT condition when viewed in strong daylight.
Close & careful inspection directly beneath a powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines.
There are absolutely no scuffs, marks or any scratches anywhere on either side of this beautiful disc.
Pressed on quality, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat both sides on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This is an 100% perfect sounding 'as new' example.
All tracks play perfectly with absolutely no traces of crackle, groovewear or any other audible wear whatsoever.
Both run-ins and all bands play totally silently without any clicks or other interference.
N.B. I never grade anything played as 'Mint'.

This superb pristine example looks like it has just left the shop, with its perfect high-gloss, unscratched front laminate
There are just two light spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing to the laminate or card, front or rear.
There is a small 'spot' above Dennis's head which is actually under the laminate.
Apart from a tiny bruise to the upper right, all corners are in perfect condition.
Both opening edges are clean & sharp with no signs of any tears or 'feathering'.
The rear panel is perfect & 'as new', with no discolouration, handling marks or any other wear whatsoever.
The spine is strong and undamaged, & retains its factory 'pinched' ends.
Aside from small/faint yellow mark on the lower flipback, all 3 & both seams are in perfect condition with no tears, stress or splits.
Tough to find a better looking & sounding copy which will not disappoint.
