Up for sale: one of the holy grails of European jazz, a beautiful original copy of "Best Modern Jazz From Italy 1962" sometimes also known as "Arden for Men" by the wonderful Basso-Valdambrini Sextet. The album is especially sought after for the old-skool dancefloor jazz bomb "Monotonia", but also includes excellent tracks all the way through, making it one of the most consistent European jazz albums of the Modern Jazz era. As a nice bonus, the record comes in the original inner sleeve introducing other releases on the Italian branch of the RCA Victor label. This is a rare opportunity to grab this much sought-after gem in still an ok condition.
