Description

This is Verve Records MG V-20009, The Basso - Valdambrini Quintet, a blue "t" label, deep groove mono issue of this Italian jazz classic featuring Renato Sellani. This record was originally issued in Italy. This is the original US issue. The record is in VG+(+) condition showing some intermittent marks and playing with occasional crackle. The overall impression though, is of quiet play. The cover shows some light shelf wear but is otherwise excellent and intact. The back has label residue. The labels are excellent. Still a fine collector's copy of this rare session. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
