In the summer of 1967, Barry Hay joined the Golden Earrings. In the '70s he also made two solo albums, of which Only Parrots Frogs and Angels is the first. Especially strong tracks include the beautiful "I Want To Be With You", "Sometimes Three Times", and "Oh Lordy, I'm Gonna Try", all featuring powerful lyrics and great craftmanship!
