Description
Barbara Dane and The Chambers Brothers Self Titled Album Folkways Records FA 2468
Very hard to find album on vinyl This copy belonged to the New York Public Library at one time so there are a couple of "NYPL" Stickers; One on the back side of the cover, One on Side A of the record.
The Vinyl has a few surface scratches and some background noise. No skips at all. The worst of it is at the very beginning of each side for about the 1st 30-60secs...a couple of pops here but then its all good. A VPI cleaning or at least a cleaning better than I can do would probably take care of that.
The Cover's really in excellent condition. Theres one small smudge of glue or something on the front (see last picture) and the NYPL sticker on back and thats it. No splits, tears or bends.
Includes the original insert with information regarding the artists and songs. It was taped by the library to the record holder so part of that tape is still there.
The Record is currently in a MFSL sleeve that is included. I don't think this originally came with an inner sleeve or it may have had a generic paper sleeve.
I also have the original poly-vinyl-ish gatefold sleeve that it was originally stored in at the library. I will also include that if you want it... just let me know!

If you have any questions feel free to ask!
No Surprises! All pictures are of the record in this auction. I'll note anything I see that I would want to know about when buying a record. No generic pictures or descriptions.
Shipping: Open records will be shipped with the record stored in a secondary cover/sleeve to prevent any damage to the actual cover. Thin strips of wood are added to the sides of the cardboard mailer to prevent you from getting a bent corner that I seem to get on every other record handled by the USPS!
Thanks for looking!
