Bakerloo (ursprünglich Bakerloo Blues Line) wurde 1968 in Birmingham gegründet. Anfänglich eine reine Blues Band begannen sie bald, im Zeichen der Zeit ihre Musik Experimentell auszuweiten.  Jim Simpson (der spätere Manager von Black Sabbath) wurde aus sie aufmerksam und verhalf ihnen zu einem Plattenvertrag mit dem damals neuen Progressive/ Underground Label Harvest und  darauf folgend einige Sendezeit in John Peels BBC Radio 1 Show “Top Gear“ Trotz eine großen Fangemeinde und begeisterten Kritiken, blieb der erwartete große Erfolg des Albums aber aus. Die Band brach auseinander und Clem Clempson wurde Mitglied von Jon Hiseman’s Collosseum, Terry Poole wurde Bassist von Uriah Heep und Terry Poole spielte einige Zeit mit Graham Bond. Nach Clempsons Zeit bei Collosseum ging er zu Humble Pie und ersetzte dort Peter Frampton als Gitarrist. Er spielte danach in vielen interessanten Formationen ist bis heute immer noch aktiv.

Condition: Vorsichtshalber “Very Good Plus“. Eigentlich könnte die Platte sogar als “Near Mint (Excellent)“ durchgehen. Die LP wurde nur sehr wenig gespielt, und hat keine hörbaren gröberen Kratzer. Es befinden aber einige leichte Oberflächenkratzer auf der Platte und feine Oberflächenwischer die vermutlich vom Herausziehen und Reinschieben ins Inner Sleeve herrühren, die aber keinen sonderlichen Einfluss auf die Klangqualität habe. Leise Grundgeräusche in der Einlaufrille und zwischen manchen Tracks sind vermutlich auf die Pressung zurückzuführen. Die LP wurde mit Kopfhören geprüft, über Lautsprecher sind die leisen Grundgeräusche kaum noch wahrnehmbar. 

Cover “Very Good Plus “Eigentlich noch recht gut erhalten. Die Laminierung ist noch in gutem Zustand nur an der Einschubseite löst  sie sich etwas und an den Rändern  zeigen sich einige Abnutzungserscheinungen. Die Ecke rechts oben ist leicht angeknickt. Die weiß-matten Innenseiten der Klappcovers sind noch sehr gut erhalten. Es befinden sich keine Risse oder sonstige gröberen Schänden an dem Cover. (Siehe Fotos)

Bakerloo (originally Bakerloo Blues Line) was founded at the  Birmingham area in 1968. Initially, a pure blues band, in the signs of the times they soon began to expand their music experimentally. Jim Simpson (who later became manager of Black Sabbath) became aware of them and helped them to a recording contract with the then-new Progressive / Underground Label Harvest and following , some airplay in John Peel's BBC Radio 1 show "Top Gear" Despite a large fan base and rave reviews, the expected great success of the album failed . The band broke up and Clem Clempson became a member of Jon's Hiseman Colosseum, Terry Poole became bassplayer with Uriah Heep and Terry Poole played some time with Graham Bond. After Clempsons time at Colosseum he went to Humble Pie and there replaced Peter Frampton on guitar. After Humble Pie broke up, he then played in many interesting formations is still active til today.

Condition: precaution "Very Good Plus". Actually, the recorc could even  go through as "Near Mint (Excellent)". The LP has been played very little and has no audible coarser scratches. But there are some slight surface scratches on the LP and fine surface “hairlines” which probably comes from pulling in and out from the inner sleeve, but have no particular effect on the sound quality. Quiet noise in the lead-in groove, between some tracks on some quiet parts, are probably due to the pressing. The LP was tested with headphones, listening through loudspeakers the quiet noise is barely perceptible.
Cover "Very Good Plus" Actually quite well preserved. The lamination is still in good condition only at the insertion side it peels off a little bit  and at the edges show some wear. The top right corner is slightly buckled. The white-matte inside of the fold out cover is very well preserved. There are no cracks or other coarser desecrating on the cover. (See photos)
