2XLP Straight Up

Pressing Run was low with this Apple Records issue of SAPCOR 19. Released in Europe this Official Double Album of Strait Up includes the George Harrison produced tracks that were later re-worked by Todd Rundgren. Both producers did their own take and both did a great job. In my opinion it’s not a matter of who’s sound better but more like two different flavors with both tasting great, just different.

Both records are in pristine condition and are housed in a gatefold cover unlike the first pressing. The only hiccup is with the top of the cover. There is some wear along the top edge where the vinyl has worn through a bit. Looks to be a little touched with some black color to hide the white wear but really doesn’t kill the cover. I’ve tried to provide a good look in the pics. Other than that and a corner ding it’s a nice packaging of some great Badfinger tracks (will price this one accordingly).

I believe the record (2) tracks are exclusively available to vinyl within this release.
