Bad Company: Rare 1974 UK 1st pressing vinyl LP, a brilliant debut album, featuring the singles Can't Get Enough and Movin' On, with factory applied red and silver personnel sticker on gatefold sleeve and unique red and silver label.
The vinyl has A-1U/B-1U matrix numbers in the run-out grooves and is in Mint condition. Housed in its iconic gatefold picture sleeve (by Hipgnosis), this copy is complete with the original inner sleeve. Highly desirable for its red and silver label, and hard enough to find in any condition, this copy is in Mint condition and the gatefold sleeve in Excellent condition. This is the original form of the release, it has red record labels. Later forms have black labels. It has a gatefold picture sleeve and red sticker, with one sleeve glued shut. Later forms have a single sleeve and/or no sticker.

This unique, rare, FIRST PRESSING, eponymous Bad Company LP from the creative peak of the band’s career is hardly ever offered for sale in this condition.

This is the extremely rare real thing: a GENUINE first UK pressing in MINT CONDITION. The gatefold sleeve is also in excellent condition, with only the lightest signs of use and no creases, scratches, tears, writing, dog-ears or other obvious damage (they genuinely look like they could almost have been bought new today). The LP is the original first press stereo LP, which was only played a few times on top-end audiophile equipment and lovingly cared for.

Bad Company is the eponymous debut studio album by hard rock band Bad Company. The album was recorded at Headley Grange with Ronnie Lane's Mobile Studio in November 1973.
The album peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200. Since then the album has sold in excess of five million copies and has become the 46th bestselling album of the 70s. The album spent 25 weeks in the UK Albums Chart, entering at #10 and reaching its highest position of #3 in the second week. Kerrang! magazine listed the album at No. 40 among the "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time".
The singles "Can't Get Enough" and "Movin' On" peaked at #5 and #19 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. "Rock Steady", "Bad Company" and "Ready for Love" (the last originally recorded by guitarist Mick Ralphs during his tenure with Mott the Hoople on All the Young Dudes) are also "classic rock" radio staples.

Bad Company's 1974 self-titled release stands as one of the most important and accomplished debut hard rock albums from the '70s. It was one of the most successful steps in the continuing evolution of rock & roll. From the simple electric guitar lick on "Can't Get Enough" to the haunting bassline in "Bad Company" and the fast beats of "Movin' On," Bad Company exemplified raw rock & roll at its best. Erupting out of an experimental period created by the likes of Pink Floyd, Bad Company signified a return to more primal, stripped-down rock & roll. Even while label mates Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy and IV featured highly acclaimed, colourful album artwork, Bad Company's austere black and white record cover stood out in stark contrast. Six years later, AC/DC used the same idea on their smash Back in Black. Throughout the 35-minute album, Paul Rodgers' mesmerizing and gritty vocals hardly vary in tonal quality, offering a perfect complement to Mick Ralphs' blues-based guitar work. Several songs include three-chord verses offset by unembellished, distorted choruses, filled rich with Rodgers' cries.
