Description
Original Mark Levinson Records production of Bach's "Art Of The Fugue". Recorded completly without compromise on his own recording gear these recordings were made with a single pair of B&K microphones placed in exactly the right position & recorded on the Mark Levinson modified Studer A80 tape deck using 1/2" tape running at 30ips. The performances wre all done as single "takes" with no splicing, the edited & pressed into high quality vinyl by the same pressing plants that manufactured DGG & Philips records. The work is spread over 4 45rpm discs of superlative sound quality in an excellent performance by organist Charles Krigbaum. Th jacket for the set has staining & wear marks, though the LPs are dead mint & have most likely never been played. Final shipping costs will depend on destination & shipping method used.
