This listing is for the Bach Suites for Unaccompanied Cello by Janos Starker.  This is the original Mercury mono release (OL3-116) on 3 LPs from 1966. We normally only use fixed-price listings, but given the rarity and condition of this item, it seemed appropriate to let the market determine the sale price.  The set has some condition issues.  First and foremost, it was marked as a remainder using a hole punch through the entire box!  There is a close up picture of the front of the box where you can see the hole in Starker's left ear.  This hole continues through the insert and through the labels of each LP.  The box is intact, but does have some light foxing on the inside from age and some general wear.  The insert (booklet) likewise has some discoloration from age but is present and in one piece.  The original sleeves are included, but the LPs now reside in Mobile Fidelity sleeves.  The records themselves also show some wear.  We don't own a proper cleaner, but suspect that these LPs would clean up nicely.  We only have a brush (and a "in the groove" cleaner) and didn't want to make any mistakes with these rare LPs.  Given the LPs surfaces, there is some noise when the LPs are played.  None of the LPs show any signs of warping.  All six sides have 'RFR-1' in the dead wax.

Given the amount of interest in these LPs, I want to respond to some inquiries about condition in a way that everyone can see them.  It was vaguely noted in the description above that the LPs show some wear.  Specifically, each of the LPs does have some visible scratches.  They are not severe enough to cause the LPs to skip, but they are audible, particularly on quieter passages and at higher volume.  This is certainly not a mint collector copy of this title.  Please bid accordingly.  Thanks again for all of the interest!
