Bach - Goldberg Variations

The LP is in VG+/EX condition. On side one there is some slight surface noise at the beginning which fades away, and a few pops/ticks but not many. At the beginning of the side there is a quiet 7 rev tick, and a 3 rev tick. On side two, again there is some slight surface noise at the beginning which fades and the occasional pop/tick. There are at least two or three short (2 or 3 rev) repetitive ticks which are quiet. Overall the record plays very nicely. The cover is in VG condition. There are quite a lot of age related marks/creases and one or two small tears. It might clean up a bit with the right know how, but as it is, it is still presentable. Strangely there appears to be a DECCA logo behind the RED TELEFUNKEN logo on the front cover. I only noticed this when examining the cover closely.
I wish I knew how old this recording is. My impression is that it is early 50s, and I should state that my VG+/EX rating is based on the fact that it is that old, as I think it sounds excellent for a record of this age, despite one or two small blemishes. Richter's playing is quite sublime, a performance which sings throughout.
This LP comes from a large collection of records owned by a retired music professor that I am selling on his behalf. I do not grade the records visually, I listen to them in their entirety and try to give as accurate description of the condition as I can.
On request I am also happy to use a courier service for orders over 2kg which may well be more economical. I will always try to find the best option available, but please ask straight away if you would like to do this.
Please note, I would appreciate payment within 4 days. Owing to my work schedule, the longer I have to wait for payment the more complicated it gets for me to send items on time as I travel a lot. It also makes life a lot easier for me if I only have to make one trip to the post office to post all sold items at the same time.
