Bach Cello Suites 1 & 2 Fournier Archiv SAPM 198 186
Pierre Fournier plays the “Suites for Cello” No’s 1 and 2 by J. S. Bach. A German stereo pressings on the Archive Label (198 186), the labels are silver with blue Archiv and border. The record has some light surface scuffing and is of very good appearance and plays and sounds superb with low-level surface noise. The front of the gatefold cover has some creases and faint staining inside – it looks like damage by coffee - and the back has ring wear.
