Bach Cello Suite 6 Enrico Mainardi Archiv 14061 APM
Enrico Mainardi plays the Bach “Cello Suite No. 6”. A German mono pressing on the Archiv Label (14061 APM), the labels are silver and blue and this is a pancake pressing. The record is of worn appearance with scuffs and small marks. The last track on side two (“gigue”) has a deep scratch that clicks for most of the track and a couple of small marks click for a few revolutions. The record plays and sounds well (very good recording and magnificent performances) but with crackle, occasional clicks and consistent low-level surface noise. The gatefold cover has rubbed a little with sticker residue at the top left-hand corner, a few small creases and other minor wear.
