Description

PAUL BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND IN MY OWN DREAM 1968 Elektra 1st Press EKS-74025


Original 1968 Elektra Records U.S. first pressing of In My Own Dream, featuring the gold butterfly Elektra label and original gatefold sleeve. This is the band’s fourth studio album and one of their most ambitious, blending electric blues, soul, jazz, and horn-driven arrangements, with contributions from Elvin Bishop, David Sanborn, and Gene Dinwiddie. A key late-60s blues-rock crossover LP and a strong collector copy.


The vinyl is Near Mint, showing a clean, glossy surface with minimal signs of handling and no visible play wear. Playback is strong and clean throughout. The gatefold cover grades VG+, with light edge wear and handling consistent with age, but no splits or structural damage. Original Elektra inner sleeve is included and grades EX.
