Description

Offered is a insanely rare Romaba Records 1971 nine track test pressing of Connecticut's Burnt Suite s/t lp. This is not a reproduction or a bootleg! The album was eventually released on the BJW Records label in 1972, catalog number CSS-9 which is the same as etched into the matrix of this test pressing (Romaba Matrix #'s CSS-9A/B). It is also dated in the deadwax 3/15/71

Heavyweight vinyl used, sound quality is great with huge lowend

I seriously doubt there is more then a couple of these in circulation and I personally have never seen one, or have found one sold. Popsike shows the BJW final release and they seem pricey

Unfortunately, I have no idea how much was changed from this recording and the final recording release. Songs may have been added or deleted. Different mixes etc...

I really enjoyed listening to this, killer guitar! Condition of the vinyl is excellent, I see maybe a few hairlines, faint sleeve scuffs and some dust. The vinyl just came in a plain jacket with "Burnt Sweet" in writing on the jacket

I guess this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a real rarity for your collection. If there is differences in the recording or songlist, the winner will indeed have a extra rarity

The lp is featured on page 66 of Hans Pokora's 2001 book & reviewed on page 41 of Acid Archives

International shipping charge includes Registered Mail or Signature Required delivery as per PayPal's requirements. Canada $8-10 depending on final sale price. US $4 includes Delivery Confirmation and Insurance

This is the tracklisting from the BJM album release, I assume it's the same 9 tracks

Track Listing: Tonight, Sally Salamader, Coming To An End, Finest Things In Life, Lightning, Enjoyment Of The Dawn, Got Time, Vindati Shanti, and It’s What You Wanted

The band was from Canton, CT and the lineup was William Florian, Woody Andrews, and Jym Cifaldi

Fuzz Acid & Flowers gives the BJW release of Burnt Suite a rarity rating of R3. I seriously doubt another authentic test pressing of this is in circulation. Rarely are authentic test pressings offered for key Acid Archive FFF or other guide reviewed lps offered on eBay. This is something very special indeed, the ultimate Burnt Suite lp

I noticed the electronic date was wrong in the image, I can supply additional images if needed. Just never updated the camera
