Burning Red Ivanhoe was a topnotch prog or some would say jazzy prog band from Denmark. They finally got their break with Warners but the album sold zilch although the quality of the music was second to none. Their provocative and inventive guitar work should be heard to be believed, this is up there with the very best progbands of the time ....... PURE GOLD!!!
This hardly ever surfaces nowadays and it's the first time I ever came across this stunner!! Standout track for me is "Near the Sea".
Vinyl: EX++. A wonderful and heavy vinyl with an as new sheen. This album has barely been played if at all. There are not even any spindle traces. Even under a bright light there are not any hairlines to be seenOf course no hairlines or marks at all even when viewed under a very bright light and this will satisfy any serious collector. The audio is out of this world as played on my \Linn Sondek/Rotel/B&W audio set up. Needless to say there NO skips, NO jumps, NO clicks etc.
Sleeve: VG. A single sleeve which has sellotape residue on the edges. There are no splits or tears. A couple of light creases and two colour fills. Still a lovely sleeve with bright colours. A rare item for sure and very desirable item for you Scandinavian prog collection.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. The chance of finding this album in any condition at all is negligible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
