BUDGIE - Never Turn Your Back On A Friend 1973 Aussie pressing
(APS 6624 MCA Records)
Condition : VG+/G+ Damage on side 2 track 3, after what looks like a hard knock has chipped a small piece in the vinyl, about halfway through.
This leads to 20 tics in that song, after a mis-track at that halfway point.
The rest of the vinyl on Side 1 is generally fine, with the odd distraction and some grittiness to some tracks, which a good clean might take away.
Most of Side 2 is great too except that knock.
Plenty of marks and scratches both sides, but they look to be hairlines in the main and there are some really engaging and great sounding parts, especially all of the louder sections.
Still, a real shame as though the cover is gently rolled on the spine, the laminate is pretty nice and still bright and colourful and very presentable as the photos show.
Worth a look if you're a big fan, or curious what the music is all about..
