Description
This rare LP is called If I Were Brittania I'd Waive the Rules and is Budgie's sixth album, released in April 1976. The title is a pun on the concept of Britannia ruling the waves. Amusingly, the word "Britannia" is misspelled in the official title. This LP is perhaps Budgie’s most eclectic effort, mirroring idealistically similar mid-late 70’s albums released by some of the era’s giants, see also Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti, Sabbath’s Technical Ecstasy, Priest’s Sin After Sin, BOC’s Mirrors, ELP’s Works albums, and many more. Not satisfied with being pigeonholed into a single stylistic mold, the band decided to take the ideas expressed on Bandolier a few steps further in every direction at once. This album features great songs like "Anne Neggen" , "Quacktor and Bureaucats" , "Sky High Percentage" and "Black Velvet Stallion"!
The Cover is in Excellent Condition(see pictures), The Vinyl is in Excellent Condition (few tiny light scuffs, but no scratches).
