TITLE/ARTIST: This hard to find and highly collectible original LP by the great Buddy Holly, is on the maroon colored, Coral Label - from the early years of R'n'R - 1959. The LP is entitled, "The Buddy Holly Story, Vol. II" - it was released posthumously following this artist's very unfortunate plane crash and death earlier that same year. This is the original 1959 released version of the album - the maroon with silver print colored label. It includes twelve (12) great songs, including his hits, "Peggy Sue Got Married", "True Love Ways", "Learning The Game" and many other great early songs (see the pictures above for all song titles). LABEL INFO: The maroon colored, Coral label (CRL-57326) - in mono - is super clean and nice with nothing really negative to mention at all - I don't even see many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates very little play (again, see photos above). VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super good - extremely shiny, clean and nice with nothing in need of a mention at all either - in my opinion, the vinyl looks about as nice as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET: This jacket is also primarily in very good overall condition - although their are some early signs of light ring wear and/or aging. But, in my opinion, none of this is too serious, especially given the rarity and collectability of this piece!. But, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions about everything. INTERESTING FACTS: To all my current Ebay followers: The two (2) Buddy Holly LPs I have listed today - yes, "Volume 1" has been listed as well (a promo copy even) - will be my last listings for 3 weeks or so - as I'm going on a vacation after these current auctions close.
