We're re-listing this one, as the original sale didn't go through.

Debut LP from Buddy Holly & The Crickets, and the only one released before he died.

For a 50+ year old record, this copy is in exceptional condition.

Overall a solid VG copy.

The thick heavy "micro groove" vinyl is a very solid VG. Plays and sounds GREAT! The visual marks kept us from giving it a VG+.

Black & silver labels are VG+, with some spindle marks & a very small surface tear  (less than 1/2" x 1/8" on side 1 which does not extend into any of the printing.

Amazingly, the textured cover has very little edge wear except along the open right edge and a 2 1/2" split at upper right corner. Printing along the spine is completely legible, except at the lower corner, which has some slight wear. There's a bit of corner denting and a 4" parallel crease line  near the middle of right edge. There is also some rub wear near both top & bottom edges, but it is not extensive. The back cover has more noticeable rub wear, but it does not affect any of the printing. A former owner's name is inked in the upper right corner. I wold rate the cover a VG.
