Description
On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) by Buddy Holly called "Blue Days - Black Nights" and is an ORIGINAL 1956 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press TRI CENTRED Brunswick label!!!! The B side is called 'Love Me'. THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS BUDDY HOLLYS FIRST & RAREST 45 EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER ROCK & ROLL RARITIES EVER - AND IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME (IF EVER!) BEFORE YOU SEE ANOTHER ONE!!!! IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS ON RELEASE BACK IN 1956 - AND WAS IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS 45 IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IT PLAYS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANTLY WITH SUPERB SOUND QUALITY (EXTREMELY RARE ON EARLY 1950s BRUNSWICK PRESSINGS!)!!!! IN FACT, I WOULD GO AS FAR AS TO SAY - THAT THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST SOUNDING 1ST PRESSINGS LEFT IN EXISTENCE!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1956 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TRI CENTRED' BRUNSWICK LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIXES, AND 1ST PRESS BRUNSWICK COMPANY SLEEVE!!!! THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Brunswick 1st Pressing from 1956 and is in GREAT condition overall!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!! This is the ORIGINAL 1956 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press TRI CENTRED Brunswick label and the Cat No is Brunswick 05581.
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! I must also say that there is a possibility that the centre has been 're-stuck' at some point - though it is AMAZINGLY well done and 100% strong!!!! The TINY evidence for this is an absolutely TINY touch of clear residue (NOT affecting the label colour!) at the VERY point of each of the triangle points where they join the outer part of the label (though this is absolutely TINY and the colour is NOT affected!). However the centre is 100% strong (there is NO WAY it will fall out!) and this is VERY easy to overlook!!!! And I am VERY certain that the centre is completely ORIGINAL to the record - as it is EXACT in texture AND colour!!!! Either way this is as minor as it gets, looks MILES better than an uncentred record, is 100% strong, and these labels look absolutely BRILLIANT (see pictures)!!!! The record is in GREAT condition overall, and most importantly it plays absolutely SUPERBLY!!!! Most of these 50s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 VERY light hairlines, only 3 or 4 VERY light scufflines, and only some general light scuffing visible under light. The record is PERFECTLY flat with NO warping!!!! It is GREAT to find that the record plays EVEN BETTER than the visual with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! This single must MEGA STRICTLY visually grade Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT 'wrecked') - though the playing grade is MILES better than this - and this record plays SUPERBLY with INCREDIBLE sound quality!!!! THIS SURELY MUST BE ONE OF THE BEST SOUNDING 1ST PRESSINGS LEFT IN EXISTENCE!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! This record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Brunswick Company sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition (NO edge splits, etc)!!!! THIS SINGLE IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
