Description
For auction is the BUD SHANK QUARTET's self-titled 1956 record featuring Claude Williamson on Pacific Jazz PJ-1215, MONO.
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. It sounded great, with slight traces of background noise here and there. These are minor, i.e., they don't detract from the music or listenability of the record. Very enjoyable by all means!
Visually, the vinyl is VG+ or better, with no flaws to report. This record is deep-grooved on both sides. The labels are black w/silver lettering, both are stamped "Promo Copy - Not For Sale"
The sleeve is about VG with two small splits on the bottom, and 3 small areas of tape which I did not try to remove. It has the owner's name in pen on the back. It has "Promo Copy - Not For Sale" stamped on both front and back.

A scarce record, very playable, in nice condition. No reserve, bidding starts at $20.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
