BUD SHANK QUARTET – FLUTE ‘N ALTO – WORLD PACIFIC 1286 – M-/EX - MONO
Recorded on January 25, 1956, this Pacific Jazz session features Bud Shank on alto and flute, Claude Williamson on piano, Don Prell on bass and Chuck Flores on drums. SIDE 1: JUBILIATION; BAG OF BLUES; NATURE BOY and DO NOTHIN’ ‘TILL YOU HEAR FROM ME. SIDE 2: A NIGHT IN TUNISIA; POLKA DOTS AND MOONBEAMS; JIVE AT FIVE; NOCTURE FOR FLUTE and WALKIN’. The LP is in its original sleeve. This is a MONO recording.
I have graded the vinyl as M- and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean of any marks on both sides. It retains its original luster. There is no sign of wear in or around the spindle hole. There are a few marks on the label. The record jacket received an EX due to a taped bottom seam on the lower right corner and some wear on the bottom seam as well. There is some slight wear on a small portion of the spine.
