BUD POWELL "The Amazing Bud Powell Trio, Vol. 2" English Vogue Mono 7" 45 Vinyl

This is the 7", extremely rare, Flat Rim, English Vogue pressing  of BUD POWELL's "The Amazing Bud Powell Trio, Vol. 2" 45-RPM EP on the "EPV 1036" labels of  English Vogue Productions. This material was originally issued on Roost Records. Musicians include Powell, George Duvivier, Art Taylor.

This 7" EP plays with consistent low to medium-level surface noise, well below the music. No hairline marks or feelable scratches.  Instruments are very dynamic, very hot, clear transients, powerful. No distortion. No skips. No warps. No groove wear.  Both sides have very good gloss.  The "EPV 1036" labels are excellent with negligible spindle wear.

  

7" LAMINATED  COVER is MINT. Top and bottom seams and spine are practically perfect, no splits.  See photos. Fold-over back jacket is in superb condition. Beautiful.  See photos.


    

This 45 was play-tested on a high-end system consisting of Music Hall MMF-7.3 turntable/Ortofon Bronze cartridge, Heed Audio Elixir integrated amplifier, and Quad S2 speakers (with very revealing ribbon tweeters). Record cleaned on VPI 16.5.
