Description
A rare first pressing, sealed album of Bruce Springsteen entitled, "Born to Run". This original, first pressing album was released in 1975 and it is now 43 years old and was released on Columbia Records PC-33795 in EX- condition overall.
This rare find of Springsteen's "Born to Run" album is a first pressing from 1975 with no bar code. It has tight shrink all around with a few of the corners rubbed slightly. Tiny shrink separation at bottom left corner and the upper right corner is a bit rough as well and has a $3.99 store sticker on that bad corner area and extends around about 1/4" on back cover (looks like the store clerk overshot the sticker area and had to wrap it around so it didn't create a flap). That upper right corner looks a bit split about 1/2" but nothing too badly at all. I just want to describe it as well as possible so that you know exactly what you're looking at.
There are two horizontal breathe holes on upper front cover and two small shrink tears (about 1/4" each) in a triangular formation near the bottom. Also a bit of ring wear on back. See all photos for details.
This is such a hard first pressing to find and although this would not be considered a FINAL upgrade, it is still a great find and someone will love to own an original, sealed first pressing of "Born to Run". I have priced this album accordingly, based on the condition and a few issues I noted.
I have described this total LP as accurately as possible and it will be a fantastic addition to any collector's records. I'm quite strict about my grading.
