 In the early 1970's, Columbia Records issued monthly editions of 7" 33-1/3 RPM vinyl records promoting their newest releases.  This auction is for Playback AS45, featuring BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - BLINDED BY THE LIGHT (Side Two) and AVENGING ANNIE - ANDY PRATT (Side One).

COLUMBIA'S PLAYBACK PRESSING OF BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN'S "BLINDED BY THE LIGHT".THIS RECORD WAS PRESSED IN THE USA  AND HAS BECOME VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND  MAKING IT VERY RARE THESE DAYS.THIS ONE WAS ISSUED IN 1973.THEY WERE GIVEN OUT TO  MEMBERS OF COLUMBIA "PLAYBACK SUBSCRIPTION CLUB"FOR TEST PURPOSES.      Vinyl: Looks like VG++, Plays like NEAR MINT. This looks like a 45, but plays at 33 1/3. (Play Graded)
   Cover: No splits.  Has some staining on front bottom right and a rubber stamp of something unreadable on the back. (Click on photos to enlarge).
